For the second year in a row, WindRose was chosen to provide the worldwide live webcast of the UN Conference on Climate Change. Live from Marrakesh, Morocco, Heads of State and Government incorporated the twenty-second Conference of the Parties (COP22), the twelfth meeting of the parties for the Kyoto Protocol (CMP12), and the first meeting of the parties for the Paris Agreement (CMA1) to discuss and implement plans about combating climate change and to demonstrate to the world that the implementation of the Paris Agreement is underway. Participants worked together to come up with global solutions to climate change.
AERA CLS Series 2016-2017
WindRose has been chosen by the American Education and Research Assoication (AERA) to provide the live production and webcasting for their CLS event series in 2016-17. The Centennial Lecture Series is a key component of AERA’s centennial celebration. The U.S. and Japan: Reassessing 3-11
To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the March 11 (“3-11”), 2011 “Triple Disaster” in Northeast Japan by holding a substantive, public discussion on the disaster and the joint response to it, Sasakawa USA held a one-day conference that included panel discussions with American and Japanese experts and officials, with an emphasis on presenting analysis of the actual events on 3-11 and Operation Tomodachi.
WindRose was called on to provide thelive webcast which included live English and Japanese translation. We were responsible for the Japanese interpreters, translation setup for a 150-person in-house audience, and simultaneous English/Japanese webcast. A lot of logistics need to come together to make an event like this work, but our team nailed it with 100% success!
