Application Viewing Requirements

The following are minimum requirements for end-users viewing the webcast

Hardware and Software Requirements

  • Current Chrome or Edge browsers required to view webcasts. Internet Explorer and Safari is not supported.
  • Microsoft Windows 10, Mac OS X v10.10 or above
  • 512 MB
  • JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled.
  • 1024 x 768 or higher resolution
  • 16-bit sound card
  • Speakers/headphones

Mobile Requirements

  • Current iOS or Android systems

Tips

  • It is always advised to use a modern, standards-compliant Internet browser
    preferably Google Chrome.
  • If you cannot hear audio, first check that your speakers are on and turned up. Also check that the volume contol on the video player is not muted.
  • If you cannot see video, first try another browser or device.
  • If you still cannot see video or hear audio, check to be sure you are not connected to the Internet via VPN.
    if you are connected by VPN, disconnect and reconnect directly to your local Internet.
  • Some very restrictive firewalls can cause difficulties viewing a webcast.
    If possible, unblock (or ask your system admin to unblock) the following ports: 1935, 43, 443 TCP and UDP.
